It is very important that you DON'T throw your receipt away. The money you get back will print off your receipt and you save it and use it towards your next purchase) If there isn't a long line, and even if there is, you can break your purchase up into two if you'd like so you can use your +UP rewards instead of paying out of pocket. +UP rewards can't pay for tax. So you will always have to pay for your own tax.

Patience is kind of the key here. Sometimes you just see something you want and use a coupon and that's it. The way to get the best deal is wait for it to go on sale, THEN stack it with your coupon...and stock up on them. Use your freezer space. For example. I like Cheese. It's 2.99. I have a dollar off manufacturer coupon. I dollar off Target Coupon target.com. (yes these can be combined). This makes it .99, which seems like an amazing deal right? What about you wait until it goes on sale for 2 for $3. Use two paper coupons, one target. 2 packets of cheese for FREE! Staking coupons on top of sales is the best possible option. That's how you will really start to save. Also compare prices in the weekly circulars that are in the paper. I never used to go to JONS...which is right down the street from me, but their produce is like 1/3 of the price of my normal grocery store.
Get a SUNDAY newspaper Subscription...it will be cheaper than paying $1.50 buying it anywhere else...and why not go for the sale, right?
You will see savings in the long run. My estimate is that you could save $thousands$/year. When it comes to drug stores, you can actually get the best deals here, but you have to get over your first initial purchase :) If you follow my blog, you will never pay for toothpaste, deodorant or toothbrushes again...and apparently light bulbs :)
So get your rewards cards, sunday paper subscription, start organizing your coupons and send me any and all questions.
